https://soundcloud.com/duckedape https://www.facebook.com/DuckedApe Ducked Ape is a Dutch DJ/producer duo consisting of Sjoerd Huissoon (born February 9, 1991) and Tim van Doorne (born September 21, 1991). Sjoerd Huissoon is musically trained, Tim van Doorne is technically trained. Ducked Ape creates electronic music, with styles such as: Deep House, Indie Dance, Electronic Dance Music, and Feel Good House. They might be best known for their songs Come And Get It (ft. Paolo Ravley) and Gold Sin (ft. Anouk Hendriks), which both reached over 150.000 plays on Soundcloud and Youtube. Sjoerd Huissoon and Tim van Doorne started Ducked Ape early 2011. That year they signed with their manager Budi Voogt (Heroic Recordings), and with the Dutch publishing agency AT Publishing. Budi Voogt and Tim van Doorne, later founded the record label Heroic Recordings. That year, Ducked Ape played on the large Electronic Dance Music event Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), and gained the interests of Dennis Ruyer (of Dutch national Radio 538) and Sander Kleinenberg with their first single and videoclip Le Dernier Soir that was released on System Recordings (USA). Furthermore, Ducked Ape has released music on Velcro City Records, BugEyed Records, Heroic Recordings, Itch Records, Songflow Beats, M Recordings (Armada Music), Armada Music Bundles, Monstercat and ARVA. In 2014, Ducked Ape hosted the club night called WARENHAUS, a recurring event, every Thursday at nightclub Supermarkt in The Hague, Netherlands. In November 2014, Ducked Ape got ranked #13th in Want Electronic's Top 20 Essential Upcoming Dutch Producers, and supported Kygo at nightclub Air Amsterdam as part of his Endless Summer Tour.
