Frank van Geest

Frank van Geest. A singer-songwriter who reminds you of the music from the 60’s and 70’s. Not because of the old fashioned sound, but because of the pureness of the melodies and harmonies. The best way to describe his music is Piano Pop with influences from Jazz and Soul music. Better than to describe it, is to listen to it. Frank started playing the piano at the age of twelve. After one year he started studying classical piano in the junior class at the Conservatory in Rotterdam. Later that year he met Thijs van Leer and after a interesting conversation, Thijs invited Frank to become his songwriting student. From that moment on, Frank started to write his own songs. When Frank finished his school, he decided to make a change. Now he studies Jazz & Pop Piano and Vocals at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Arnhem. Frank met two great fellow students, Thomas Fehse on Bass and Alex Schildhauer on Drums, with whom he decided to start a band. Since that moment the rehearsals started and soon some recordings will be available to listen to.
