James Dennis

James Dennis is an electronic "bass" and Rap artist born in Detroit, Michigan as James Grimshaw and raised in the small town of Fostoria, OH. James started tattooing at 14 years old, and continued his tattooing career into what he is today. While tattooing he began to dream of a career in the music industry. After hooking up with a local producer, James started recording mixtapes. Months after that he started booking shows. While slowly building a following, James created a slogan/movement #YNT which stands for "young n' tatted", a label that represents the tattooed and body modified cult that has recently became popular with today’s young generation. He then hooked up with some notable photographers and started modeling his tattoos and unique look exploding his image to over 20k followers on Instagram in a very short amount of time. His followers consist of dedicated fans in Europe, Los Angeles, and Miami. James’s fan base then began to grow into a cult following, and he knew he needed a sound to support this newfound popularity. Taking the advice of friends close to him, James began to seek out a producer named Synbeatz. The debut album entitled “I am James Dennis” is NOW available on itunes, Amazon, and other digital outlets. We’re willing to bet that the #YNT movement will come to your city very soon!
