Calima

Calima (or Calima colors , as they are also known in some online social networks ) is a band formed in 2004 in the county of Garraf Barcelona by members and musicians from different countries , cultures and ethnicities. Its founder , Juanlu " the Canijo " was also co -founder and member of Ojos de Brujo training before undertaking the project Calima , within which is at the forefront as a bassist , artistic director and producer . With three albums on the market, Just Fly ( Satellite K , 2012 ), Blue ( EMI Music , 2007 ) and Earth ( Satellite K , 2009 ) , Calima today stands out as one of the most talented bands in Spanish fusion musical styles such as flamenco , jazz , rumba , hip- hop or bossa , having already received a Latin Grammy nomination in late 2007 , in the category of best flamenco album with his debut album Blue . Calima 's music sounds and smells of Mediterranean air , a freshness and earth and sea, joy. The voices of artists like Macaco , The Shica , Bebe or " La Mari " Chambao can be heard on several tracks from the band Barcelona .
