The dynamic trio of three beautiful young ladies who are talented, friendly and charming, have made a big impact on the South African music scene with their energetic live performances, singing, dancing and playing guitars. Their popularity nationally has increased rapidly, especially since the release of their critically-acclaimed debut album “STRONG” on the iconic EMI label for which they have just earned four SAMA nominations including Best Adult Contemporary Album, Duo or Group of the Year, Best Producer and Best Engineer (the very talented Mark Beling).BlackByrd made waves throughout South Africa when their first chart-topping single off the album, “All For Me”, was aired extensively during Women’s Month of August last year, and again during the Sixteen Days of Activism Campaign against the Abuse of Women and Children during November/December.
