HERO

Around 1970 guitar player Massimo Pravato (from Venice) and keyboardist Robert Deller (born in the UK) played with a Udine band called Upupa. After some time, they decided to form a new trio with the drummer Umberto Maschio (from Padova). The band moved to Munich, in Germany, playing a residency in a local club. Finally in 1972 the trio chose the name Hero and recorded an album with the German label PAn. Pravato died in a car accident in 1973, prior to the album's release the following year.
