Montecristo

Montecristo was born of an explosive contrast of its mother San Diego, California, and its father Mexico. Derived from this mix in influences, attitudes, and rhythms, Montecristo is now responsible for a very innovative style of Spanish alternative rock. Consisting of nine elements whose signature is issued by trumpets, trombones, congas, electric guitars, bass, drums and vocals, Montecristo fills you and makes you dance with a unique sound that derives from pre-Hispanic, Latin, and Afro-Cuban rhythms, with a great influence of blues, ska, reggae, and Californian rock. With just a few years since its birth in 2007, and breaking the barriers of musical genres, Montecristo has conquered varied masses and has shared stages with many now legendary and renowned artists such as Septacore, Allison, Motel, Maria Jose, Vilma Palma, Kalimba, Paty Cantu, Enanitos Verdes, Anahi, Belinda, Gloria Trevi, Christian Castro, El Tri, Maldita Vecindad, Miguel Mateos, and the American music legends
