Theothoughtless

Theothoughtless was born in NY and raised just north of Orlando, FL. His father was a Catholic Haitian immigrant, and his mother was a Sunni Muslim from Karachi, Pakistan. He was brought up in very religious, strict, reserved communities and went to a small, Christian school with only 20 kids in his grade, also attended Sunni mosques on the weekends. Growing up, Theothoughtless was extremely sheltered. Art wasn’t taken seriously by anyone he had known. It was something he did to escape and then later to gain control of recurring life situations. As a visual artist Theothoughtless surfaced a collection of drawings entirely made up of small black dots marked with a single felt tip ink pen. These drawings were surreal depictions of distorted female anatomy, each of which were shown in multiple galleries and a Young Architects Forum showcase in the Orlando Museum of Art. After he completed this collection, he moved onwards to photography. From casting to set design, concept development, direction, makeup and styling he obtained as much experience as possible with select models of central Florida. With his background in visual art Theothoughtless would go on to create cover art, assisting musicians with their visual representation. Eventually revisiting music as Theothoughtless, collaborating with members of the local label The Grocery Store.
